Description
The ELF-Series from Omnipure the world leaders in water filtration was designed specifically for higher volume demands. In contrast to what the name implies, the new ELF’s (Extra-Large Format) capacity of up to 80,000 litres depending on the quality of the water and flow rates of up to 8 litres per minute, make it ideal for use in restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and canteens.
The ELF-Series has a two-piece configuration with a fixed head and a bayonet style replaceable polypropylene body. This helps to reduce cost as simple body replacement is cheaper than replacing the entire filter system. Replacement is fast and easy. The body is quickly detached from the head with the twist of a wrist, no tool required.
Omnipure has developed an entire series of carbon blocks to work in the extra large ELF filter body. The OmnipureBlocks™ available in the ELF-Series include standard 10 and 1 micron carbon blocks, lead reduction carbon blocks and polyphosphate(scale removal)/ carbon blocks for protecting your equipment from contaminants associated with hard water. All Omnipure filter bodies are made with virgin, high-impact polypropylene which is especially ideal for use in applications where sanitary conditions are required. All materials of construction are NSF and/or FDA approved.

Pleated sediment filters are a cost effective way of removing dirt, rust, algae and other suspended contaminants from the water. They have a large surface area due to the pleats and therefore a low pressure loss through the filter. The filters can be cleaned although this does not clean them back to new, it will however extend their life. 1 micron cartridges and below are too fine to successfully clean, doing so will only marginally extend their life.
Instant Boiling and Chilled Filtered Water. With a focus on space saving, Billi systems are often less than half the size of comparative products, allowing you to make the most of the available area, while offering the largest capacities available in the market.
Cartridge shells that can be cleaned and reused with GAC. These cartridge shells are designed to be filled with GAC for use within a Whole House/High Flow filter system. They can be washed and reused at the time of replacing the media within – providing an economic means to filtration for your entire home. GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) is simply carbon in the form of granules. This increases the surface area available for absorption of the unwanted chemicals within your water supply.
Doulton filtration for whole house/high flow application. You have a choice of Sterasyl or Supersterasyl candles. Sterasyl candle is designed for microbiological protection whilst Supersterasyl is a Sterasyl shell packed with selective activated carbon for chlorine, bad taste and odor, pesticides, herbicides and industrial solvents reduction. Due to the carbon exhaustion change Supersterasyl candles every six months.
