These Carbon filters employ a high grade carbon with industry-leading surface area allowing for the greatest efficiency of the carbon absorption. GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) is simply carbon in the form of granules. This increases the surface area available for absorption of the unwanted chemicals within your water supply. It also extends the life of the cartridge, maximizing time between cartridge changes. This filter cartridge is Tested and Certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material requirements only.
Cartridge shells that can be cleaned and reused with GAC. These cartridge shells are designed to be filled with GAC for use within a Whole House/High Flow filter system. They can be washed and reused at the time of replacing the media within – providing an economic means to filtration for your entire home. Pleated sediment filters are a cost effective way of removing dirt, rust, algae and other suspended contaminants from the water. They have a large surface area due to the pleats and therefore a low pressure loss through the filter. The filters can be cleaned although this does not clean them back to new, it will however extend their life. 1 micron cartridges and below are too fine to successfully clean, doing so will only marginally extend their life.
Second to none ceramics technology expertise from Doulton. The Doulton Ultracarb is a three stage cartridge combining the highly efficient filtration properties of ceramic with the enhanced water treatment properties of activated carbon and the heavy metal reduction capabilities of ion exchange media.
The carbon block filter is made in USA from coconut shell carbon.
Providing an alternative to higher priced replacement bodies. The CK-Series was developed to offer our customers an alternative to higher priced replacement bodies designed to fit existing bayonet-style permanent heads. Made of highly durable injection-moulded polypropylene, the CK-Series is constructed from 100% NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) approved materials.
The ELF-Series from Omnipure the world leaders in water filtration was designed specifically for higher volume demands. In contrast to what the name implies, the new ELF’s (Extra-Large Format) capacity of up to 80,000 litres depending on the quality of the water and flow rates of up to 8 litres per minute, make it ideal for use in restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and canteens. Cost-effective, point-of-use water filtration for high volume applications.
Available with or without auto shutoff, the new L-Series offers a patented design to easy change-outs with a simple one-quarter turn. Made of highly durable injection-moulded polypropylene, the L-Series is constructed from 100% NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) certified materials. We offer a variety of standard media options including granular activated carbon (GAC) for taste and odour reduction, depth filtration media to address sand, grit and sediment problems that can clog or damage down line equipment and a special blend polyphosphate media designed to control scaling associated with hard water.
The Q-Series is the ultimate “user friendly” inline filter on the market. As with all Omnipure filters, the Q-Series is ideal for use in any situation where better tasting, sediment-free water is required - beverage equipment, RO systems, drinking fountains, ice machines, and other point-of-use applications.
Removes particulate matter from your drinking water. Polyspun Sediment cartridges offer a simple means of filtration. They are made from spun bonded polypropylene, the manufacturing technique of these cartridges results in no centre core to the filter, thus not restricting the filter performance. The materials also provide a resilient barrier to bacterial/chemical influence – preventing any build of unwanted waste (e.g. algae). These sediment filters are compatible with most liquids and are highly effective for sediment, rust, sand, silt, and algae removal.
Designed to be used as a pre-filter in a standard system. A String Wound filter cartridge is manufactured from surfactant-free polypropylene string over a polypropylene core. The large void volume design offers low-cost, reliable filtration performance with high contaminant holding capacity. These sediment filters are compatible with most liquids and are highly effective for sediment, rust, sand, silt, and algae removal.
